The E-Museum system is a TextWorks database designed by Infospecs for organisations whose main requirement is to catalogue and provide easy online search access to their collection. It includes the facility to reference the scanned images of photographs.
The database is designed to manage a variety of objects including maps, plans, photographs, books and manuscripts. Full text and image references can be included.
A menu screen provides easy-to-use shortcuts to commonly performed procedures, such as cataloguing different types of objects, producing location and donor reports, acknowledgement letters and searching the database.
