Inmagic Content Server provides a platform that
incorporates a standard database environment (Microsoft® SQL
Server™ database)
and enables scalability of Inmagic databases to terabytes of data.
Inmagic’s textbase engine differentiates Inmagic CS from
other products running on SQL Server. While using SQL Server as
its data store, Inmagic Content Server includes
the Inmagic textbase engine to enhance the database and search
capabilities. This allows users to develop custom structures for
content, and
enables fields in the structure to conform to that content.
Inmagic Content Server offers a system that can be deployed
for workgroup or enterprise use quickly and cost-effectively,
with
only minimal ongoing support from IT. Web publishing capability,
based on XML and SOAP is built into Content Server.
