ARCHIVES ONLINE
Archives Online is designed by Andornot Consulting in conjunction
with the City of Richmond Archives and Archefactual Systems Consulting.
It provides databases for managing archival accessions and descriptions.
A thesaurus facility for building subject and name access is also
provided.
Archives Online complies with the Rules for Archival Description
(RAD) and the International Standard for Archival Description (ISAD).
A user manual and extensive online help provides detailed instructions
for entering material. Descriptions of non-archival material are
also easily managed.
Archives Online includes easy-to-use search screens and many detailed
reports for generating finding lists, shelf lists, donor lists,
hierarchies and photo inventories.
